THE RETREAT
On this unique retreat in the magical ancient Cornish setting of Retallack Woodlands, you will explore a range of arts to enliven your senses and ignite your creative spark. Central to our unique creative process is moving between art forms: taking inspiration from nature and myth, through embodied practices, into visual art, movement and back again. We will share this process with you in supportive, playful and permission-giving sessions. There will be the chance to look at and release the blocks that hold you back from expressing yourself fully.
You will have the opportunity to take part in range of facilitated sessions leading to the supported creation of your own archetype-inspired presentation to share. This could be a performance, a ritual, a poem or an art object. You will leave the retreat with creative ideas to carry forward into your own practice.

Retallack Woodlands is the birthplace of Mossy Crow, where nature is respected and encouraged to flourish. The stunning woodlands, both ancient and new, and bounteous flora and fauna are wonders to behold. It is also the home of the famous Retallack Quarry Spa with sauna, hot tub and wild swimming in a dreamily idyllic location.
We will be outside as much as possible and in an oak frame barn for indoor sessions.

We have a sliding scale of fees for the retreat and accommodation. If you are part of a couple or a group, please contact us before booking for discount options.
Bring your own tent and bedding and pitch in glamping campsite - £450
Bring your own or hire a live-in vehicle/caravan with campsite hook ups - £500
Glamping in luxurious bell tents with bedding and furniture provided - £600
Double room in house with shared bathroom - £650
Private cabin with an en suite shower and kitchenette - £700
FOOD
Delicious freshly prepared vegetarian/vegan breakfast, lunch, supper and snacks will be served. Food is locally sourced and fresh from the garden.
Foraged snacks and herb teas will be available at all times.
BRIEF OUTLINE OF ACTIVITIES
All materials will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own.
WEDNESDAY 4th SEPT
Arrive from 3pm and set up camp. Wander around the Mossy Realm. Welcome Supper at 6pm. Introductions and explanations by the fire.
THURSDAY 5th SEPT
Opening ceremony - setting the archetypal and elemental themes - step through the portal - solitary contemplation in the Cornish forest - morning creation workshops - lunch foraged from the forest garden - relaxation, reflection and journaling - afternoon creation workshops - Dreamweaver’s Stew Supper - night walk and bed time stories..
FRIDAY 6th SEPT
Tarot-yoga - guided preparation for archetype presentations - lunch - relaxation, reflection and journaling - rehearsing and finalising ritual presentations - Quarry Spa with wild cocktails - toasting and tales at supper - co-created fun by the fireside.
SATURDAY 7th SEPT
Morning stone circle meditation - rehearsals - lunch - grand finale of sharing of ritual presentations, performances and creations - evening Mossy Arcana Banquet with co-created entertainment.
SUNDAY 8th SEPT
Closing ceremony. Relaxed packing up and goodbyes.
